December 31, 2019M eet Station 31 Paramedic David Cook, an FDNY member who is truly focused on helping the community in more ways than one.
“I came on this job at a young age and began serving the Brooklyn community and I was lucky to have been mentored by veterans who taught me life lessons and how to excel at my job,” said Cook, who dedicates his time to help organize toy, clothing and food drives during the holiday season each year alongside his Station 31 family. “I love working in EMS because I live to help and uplift people. I delight in working with my colleagues to put events together from the love in my heart. I have spent the last six years serving the community and I hope to continue to help save lives as an EMS member and help others on and off the job whenever I can.”
In honor of the 2019 holiday season, we celebrate him, as well as the members of Station 31 for all of their efforts to give back to the community each year.

During the holidays, members of Station 31 dedicate their time to help spread holiday cheer to families in the neighborhood.
