We are now accepting applications for the Summer EMS Academy 2025 (SEMSA). This is a great opportunity to learn the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to earn your New York State EMT Basic Certification. SEMSA is a challenging program geared towards molding the next generation of first responders. The program includes physical fitness and job readiness training. To be eligible, you must be between the ages of 17-28 years old, have a high school diploma or its equivalent and be a resident of the five boroughs. The application period ends on March 31, 2025.
